My laptop has no firewire, no PC card, no Express Card ports. How do I connect a firewire device?

My laptop has no firewire, no PC card, no ExpressCard ports. I have a firewire mixer that I need to connect, as well as a firewire audio interface. What do I do? I don't want to have to buy a new laptop to get this rocking.
