Do you personally believe that the local police should have the right and responsibility of vigilante ICE?

new laws around the US are forcing the police to take on the roles of Immigration enforcement and check IDs on anyone and everyone (supposedly) to verify if they are legal in the US. Do you think this is ok or that the police should be given less power?
