Well this sounds like she might just be thinking of you as a good friend and shes trying to not hurt you or make things awkward by requiring some big long talk about how she doesnt think of you that way or shes not into dating right now, or ect. I would give her some time and drop the topic so that you dont have to ruin a good friendship over a misunderstanding.
